Work with personnel is great for automation, despite the fact that it would seem that personal communication is very important. HR is the first acquaintance of a potential candidate with the company, you need to be careful here, but properly configured AI will always show you in the best light.
So, how can artificial intelligence (hereinafter referred to as AI) help, and in the future possibly replace, the HR department.
1. Create vacancies
The number of identical vacancies and requirements for them is growing every day, so it is important to write a unique description to attract a candidate. It is much easier to give this task to ChatGPT and quickly get several unique options than to spend several hours of working time on it.
2.Analysis of candidates
If you have ever opened a personal account at hh.ru as a recruiter, then you know very well that about 1,000 people respond to a vacancy, and this is for the first time. Imagine how much time a recruiting manager spends reviewing each resume and weeding out candidates who do not meet any criteria. Many candidates automatically respond to vacancies without even reading the description, so the percentage of suitable candidates is about 15-20 percent. After testing and a series of interviews, at best there will be 20-30 people left (this is if a large company requires several people). Ultimately, out of 1000 people who respond, 2-5 people get the job. Imagine how much time a recruiter spends on this, but such routine tasks can be transferred to AI.
3. Screening out unsuitable candidates.
Enter the minimum requirements for the candidate into the AI settings (higher education, knowledge of foreign languages, experience in sales, readiness to travel, etc.) Thus, the AI will automatically leave suitable candidates with whom the manager can begin working in more detail or also transfer this task to the AI
4.Introduction of a voice assistant.
When conducting a telephone interview, the voice assistant will be able to ask the necessary questions and record the answers. At the moment, there are already such “voice robots” that are ready to conduct interviews. With their help, recruiters
They will be able to devote less time to routine calls. Also, some candidates insert invalid and non-existent numbers, which will also reduce the time spent on calls.
5. Helping new employees in a new place
When entering a new place, a new employee is often faced with the problem of the unknown. Sometimes it happens that at this moment there is no one to take him under his wing and bring him up to date, this is where AI comes into play. Using, for example, a chat bot, an employee can get acquainted with the company’s projects and tasks. An employee can also use it to get acquainted with the history of the company, employees and their brief description, and a map of the building (if it is a large company). This way, the employee becomes part of the team without distracting others from important tasks. Although, of course, personal communication is still unlikely to be successfully replaced
6. Drawing up work schedules
In large companies, employees draw up a work schedule if they work not 5/2, but for example 2/2, 3/3, etc. It’s easy to get confused in such schedules, especially if someone is constantly making adjustments and there are more than 15 employees.
It is much easier to set a task for AI to create a schedule for all employee preferences, which will take a maximum of 15-20 minutes.
